Robert Powell | Director of Mufon Research
|

Robert Powell is the current Director of Research at MUFON and resides in Austin, Texas. He is one of the two authors of the detailed radar/witness report on the January 2008 MUFON Stephenville Radar Report.
|
|
On July 12, 2008, he and his co-author Glen Schultze appeared on the Larry King Live to release their findings concerning UFOs in the Stephenville Texas area in January 2008. The 77-page report is replete with data received from the FAA, National Weather Service, nearby military bases and other official sources. He is active with FOIA requests and leads a team that is writing a history on the involvement of government with UFOs and has been interviewed on well-known broadcasts such as George Noory’s Coast to Coast.
Robert has a BS in Chemistry and is a former collegiate debater. He has 28 years in engineering management in the semiconductor industry from 1978 to 2006. His experience includes managing a state of the art chemistry lab and managing a Research and Development group that worked on nano-technology. Robert is also a co-holder of four patents. |
