Click on the Map — June 15, 2008 Hello Everyone, Total Sighting Reports World Wide - 568 for April 2008, and 434 for May 2008. Notice the concentrations of UFO reports, in the Ohio, Indiana, and southern Michigan areas. It appears by the maps to be characterized by clusters of reports within tight local areas, and from both data bases.  Los Angeles is always hot with UFO activity, but these two months it appears it is getting hotter. Some of these reports seem to have emanated from around UC Irvine (University of California).
Texas in January 2008 had it's now famous 'flap', then quieted down in March, but look at the increased apparent activity in the north east corners of Fort Worth/Dallas areas in April & May 2008. The Stephenville, Texas areas appears relatively quiet. I wonder what is going on? Florida is always a active area, and this summer seems consistent. There was a 'airborne' sighting on April 20, 2008, and an airborne sighting (NUFORC) on a commercial flight (seen by passenger) between Tokyo and Honolulu. Report states "two glowing balls moving opposite direction from plane". May 2008 world map areas revealed one singular report, a UFO crash in Cambodia on May 30, 2008 near Phnom Penh. (Source: NUFORC) There was a report from Vietnam of a similar event weeks earlier. Could the Cambodia report have become confused with a Vietnam UFO crash reported over the internet a few weeks ago? Information from this area of the world is limited.  Hawaii has seen a big spike in heightened activity in April 2008, primarily on the big Island (5!) and Maui(1). The monthly totals for Hawaii is usually around one or two over this entire island chain.
Symbols - Flags mean IFOs or hoaxes, round dots mean disk reports. Triangles = Triangles. Cross means a 'light'. Three dots in a triangle arrangement means a 'formation'. Solid squares mean 'other shapes', cylinders, morphing diamond, cone shapes. As it never fails also, notice how the vast majority of reports that consistently align along interstate highways.
